Clay it is an ancient technique that helps connect our minds with the earth through our hands, therefore has a deeply calming effect. It has been seen to reduce negative moods and anxiety, and awaken creativity.

What to make?
We use air dry clay in our kits which means there is no need for any kilns! The clay dries naturally within 24-72 hours depending on the size of your project, with no kiln or oven heating required.
Air dry clay is an incredibly versatile medium used by artists of all ages. It is suitable for a wide variety of arts and craft projects, from beads to soap dishes, decorations to succulent planters. What’s included?

• A guide containing detailed instructions for how to work with your clay, including pottery techniques as well as ideas for projects
• 1kg Air Drying Clay (Sealed in a bag until ready to use), enough for 1-2 people.
• 1 x sponge
• 1 x aluminium scraper
• 1 x wire clay cutter

• A set of 10- 12ml coloured acrylic paints

To create a glazed pottery finish on your painted sculptures and to make them waterproof you can add an acrylic gloss or sealant. Although you can seal your pieces to give them some protection from water, it won’t be food safe. So please don’t eat or drink from them. You can however make some lovely decorative mugs and bowls!
